I’ve been wanting this product for SUCH a long time, and finally bit the bullet and ordered it. SO happy that I did! The legs and mechanism is very high quality! The functionality of it is so wonderful, I can raise my keyboard up if I want to stand while giving a voice lesson, and lower it enough if I want to work from my modern low lying couch. Just what I wanted!

The only things I would suggest, installation is good and very detailed, however the instructions did not mention that one part (called the G-Shaft) twists open to expand. I reached out to get another part, but it turns out I did not need one - but the instructions could have been clearer.

Also, I really wish that this piece came in a white color. And the MDF “wood” top is a little scratchy on the edges. Ultimately, I am very pleased with my purchase and think that you will be too! I ordered the longer 1400 version, and my roland RD-300SX fits it like a glove. I might want to order a second one in the future... But at this price point, I will have to wait to get a second one.

I have an 88-key Native Instruments Kontrol Mk2 that I wanted to fit under a 60” sit-stand desk. The larger Hover KeyboardStand rolls right where I need it to go and fits under my desk with no worries or stability issues I might have had by adding a pullout keyboard drawer. I am not great at putting things together, but I managed to get this assembled in 1.5 hours with the tools provided. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

I have a very specific need in my mix/master space for a desk that was not built as a production space with a built in 88 key shelf. The room however doubles as a recording space at times and the wavebone hover stand fit perfectly under the desk to hold my 88 key keyboard. The only thing I wish I could add is electric/power height adjustment. The manual height adjustment control is clean and works great so there is no real loss for the lack of power lift capabilities. The stand is solid and looks great and very professional for the space I have. Exactly what I needed when I needed it. I wish there were other alternatives to do a bit of product comparison but for what the wavebone hover stand does, this is exactly what I needed and exceeded my expectations in quality and aesthetics. Definitely recommend if you don’t do DIY or need something with solid manufacturing.
