The desk is great once it's assembled but the instructions are terrible. It took a cohort who works in the building trades and myself 3 1/2 hours to put it together. The different kinds of screws are labeled in the instructions but were haphazardly thrown together in one bag.

I needed a small audio workstation for a modest home setup and the Wavebone Star Rover Studio Desk was the perfect footprint. For the build quality, it is a fair price and shipping was faster than expected. One thing that would make the desk more helpful is if the instructions were more clear; the illustrations are far too tiny with significant details being hard to see i.e. which way a piece is oriented and which holes to align etc. Overall, I’m very happy with the desk and would recommend it for smaller spaces.

I've been using this desk for over a year now and I have no complaints.

Star Rover™ Studio Desk

Star Rover was a secondary desk in my home office/studio to host my Eurorack gear, NI S49MK2 controller and few other rotating bits of kit. It was pretty straightforward to put together. I purchased some sturdy caster wheels off of Amazon so I could easily roll it around and give a little extra height for my office chair. Materials feel and look great. Wavering on picking up a Fin possibly. Purchased back in 2023.
