I did a bunch of research including this chair and so glad I did. I ordered the foam seat rather than the mesh after reading that, while the mesh was great for the back, it was rather tuff on the tush, especially if you wear shorts. So with the foam seat, it's perfect and JUST what I want. The whole chair fits me like a glove with excellent back support - not too much - but the Goldy Locks type, just right! Arm & head rests - wonderful. And of course, the main reason for replacing my original chair: the Voyager II arms move COMPLETELY out of the way for playing guitar at the desk... EASILY!
Reviews on the less expensive chairs always had comments like, "flimsy hardware," or "started leaning to one side," "got wobbly," I noticed this when visiting folks - secretly checking out their chairs! - or in stores, noticing how less comfortable, wobbly and cheap the $100'ish chairs felt compared to the Voyager II.
Only negative I have is that, during assembly, two of the wheels were really difficult to fully insert into the base. I couldn't find any Vaseline in the house so I had to use a smidge of my wife's body lotion! Still took some doing but finally had success.
I love this chair - gets my full on endorsement (whatever that's worth!) and recommendation!
