First the good: The desk is beautifully made, super heavy duty and all the parts fit superbly(at least on mine). It is the perfect size and although some people have complained about a 61 key keyboard not fitting, all I can say is that if you measure your keyboard or, as my case, the one you are about to buy, it should be simple to see if this desk will work for you. As they say in woodworking: "measure twice, cut once". I was looking at a Nektar or an Arturia and went with the Arturia not only for its overall quality and capability, but also because a 61 key model would fit this desk. If I had decided on the Nektar, it would not have fit. Now the bad: The instructions require a lot of guesswork. They are tiny. It's so bad that you can't really see which way to orient most parts. One of the parts was mislabled "O" instead of "N" like it was on the parts list and I consider myself lucky that I guessed right several times when I coulld have easily gotten it wrong and would have spent considerable time doing it again. Guys, you need a teacher, a real teacher, to write a sequential and CLEAR set of instructions. The ones that come with the desk are boderline useless. I watched Youtube video and discovered immediately that it must have been done with an older model because the frame assembly on the vidoe had different parts and assembly than the one I got. In short, the video which according to the website was meant to make up for the lousy instructions was less than useless and would probably further confuse a lot of folks( I am a teacher so....Clear steps, in sequence, like you are teaching a six year old is the way to go). Aside from that the desk is a realwinner and I'm glad I purchsed it. It solved some problems, looks great and is a big, big improvement at a very reasonable price. Hope this helps. As usual YMMV.
